History

EdensoundS was formed in 2005 as a response to the urgent need for a platform for up-and-coming musicians and performers on the competitive London scene. Our ethos then, as now, was to provide opportunities for newly emerging talent to be showcased alongside some of the best-known and established artistes in their field.

Many musicians, DJ’s and producers have since used EdensoundS as a springboard to bright and promising domestic and international careers, while many more have benefited from the support and advice of their more experienced counterparts.

In 2006, EdensoundS expanded by providing exhibiting opportunities for visual artists to present their work at our events. Wherever possible we promote these exhibitors in the same way we do for our musical associates, as we recognise all strands of creative endeavour to be of equal value.

EdensoundS has appeared at a variety of different venues across London, ensuring we are constantly challenged to improve and review what we do and how we do it. Not only does this keep our productions fresh and interesting, it also allows our creative contributors to gain exposure and audience in new and unfamiliar territories.

We are constantly forging new working alliances with open- minded organisations in order to generate networks for our contributors as well as gain new experiences for ourselves!

At the heart of EdensoundS success is its audience. We’ve been blessed with a loyal band of supporters who really appreciate what we’re about, and the like-minded people who come to our events and make them so special!
